Welcome to TakoGo. These Terms of Service govern your use of the TakoGo application and website operated by CAS Media LTDA. By accessing or using TakoGo, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TakoGo, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Service Description
TakoGo is an educational platform that generates and delivers cultural courses on topics including literature, art, music, cinema, philosophy, history, and more. Courses are generated from publicly available sources including Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may sign in using email, Google, or Apple. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
TakoGo offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and our refund practices.
5. Course Content
Course content is generated from publicly available sources and is provided for educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Course content should not be considered professional advice.
6. Intellectual Property
The TakoGo name, logo, design, and original software are the property of CAS Media LTDA. Course content derived from Wikipedia is used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License. Images from Wikimedia Commons are used under their respective licenses. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute TakoGo's proprietary materials without permission.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to: • Use the service for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems • Interfere with or disrupt the service • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract content from the platform • Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits • Share account credentials with others
8. Disclaimers
TakoGo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAS Media LTDA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to TakoGo at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Brazil.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the platform. Your continued use of TakoGo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
